Ravenstone Manor is a delightful 18th Century Manor House set in 2 acres of grounds at the base of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. We offer car parking facilities and spectacular views towards Bassenthwaite Lake and open countryside. You will find the hotel warm and welcoming with appetising cooking. All of our 20 bedrooms have en-suite facilities.

ravenstone fresh spring waterAll of the water served in the hotel, including coming out of the taps, is from our very own mountain spring located behind the house on the hill to Skiddaw. Ravenstone has had fresh spring water quenching the thirst of its guests for over 50 years.

Within the beautiful stone walls is a comfortable and spacious guest lounge and bar with open fires along with the games room which contains a full size snooker table, pool table and table tennis table along with a wide variety of pub games, board games, cards, quizzes and much more to while away the hours.

We have a mixture of styles in our rooms, from a classic 4-poster room and an elegant 4-poster spa room to our Osprey rooms which have a more contemporary feeling. Please be sure to enquire about the different rooms.
